January Updates:
We're at the very end of January and I know as of late, things have been relatively slow. Here's a few improvements that have taken place:
.Xbox Nation Logo/Banner
We have a new banner & logo to replace the temporary placeholder. I think the new one is brighter, livelier & all around, better. The logo contest remains open. If a better submission is made, then it will be considered for use across the entire site.
.Release Dates on the Calendar
I know most people don't use the calendar, usually it simply show the upcoming birthdays. I have begun adding dates for upcoming game releases. Turok & Devil May Cry 4 are coming out on Tuesday, they've both been added along with some title scheduled for March & April. The calendar will continue to be updated with other Xbox related events as they appear.
.Rotating Registration Banners
New banners have been created & have been uploaded the site. You will only be able to view these when you are not logged in, as these are meant to increase out guest:member ratio.
.Inactivity
January has been a slow month for us, I assume simply because life is restarting itself after the holidays. I myself haven't been spamming. But I encourage you all to post something, make a reply or interact to a small degree. I see four people online at the same time, but come back ten minutes later to find you all gone and nothing new has happened! At the very least, mods, you should be active. Can't have much community with lurkers.
