| Grand Theft Auto IV Grand Theft Auto IV The wait is nearly over. Grand Theft Auto IV will hit shelves on Tuessday, April 29th, 2008. Industry insiders speculate that the opening weekend of GTA4 could easily see $400 million in sales, exceeding Halo 3's opening & the biggest Hollywood films. The Grand Theft Auto series has sold over 70 million units to date and that number will only increase with the launch of the series' most polished title to reach the hands of gamers. Grand Theft Auto IV builds upon the classic GTA model, addressing issues of its predecessors and bringing an experience expected of an industry flagship title. So far, the title has already taken a number of perfect review scores from some of the largest gaming outlets and the positive feedback continues to swell. So, will Grand Theft Auto IV make video game history? It seems poised to take every record so far, and the hype continues to build. Exclusive Xbox episodic content seem to assure that even after the last mission is finished, the story won't be. The addition of multiplayer for first time ever in a GTA will undoubtedly extend the game's longevity and replay value. Some speculate that it could even take on Halo 3 & Call of Duty 4's Live dominance. Only time will tell as the Xbox Nation counts down to release. Quote: Game Rating: M (Mature)

| Re: Grand Theft Auto IV To be honest, I despise the GTA series.
It is one of those things people point to when they bash video games as mindless violence and detestable acts.
Personally, in this case, they are right. If Rockstar went bankrupt, I'd be a happier guy. |

As you said in a previous thread, you want to be a law enforcement officer & usually LEOs tend to need a higher code of ethics/conduct for themselves than say average joe. GTA does represent drugs, sex, violence and many other bad synonyms. So kudos to you for sticking to your guns Meteor. But you know what they, sex & violence sells. |

| Re: Grand Theft Auto IV I only want it cause its fun anmd i LOVE sandbox games. I dont care for the sex and whatnot, it just doesnt interest me in video games. I can get enough of the sex part on a computer if i want it. The violence and sandbox type gameplay is what interests me. Being able to do what you cant in real life..without getting screwed over big time..is just so much fun. Oh and the drugs doesnt interest me either. I dont like those kinds of things.

| Re: Grand Theft Auto IV This game goes against all my morals. Seriously, I would be so happy to buy the game if it didn't have the sex and nudity and stuff. I think this game would actually be pretty cool if you could play as the cop.
Probably won't buy it. |

| Re: Grand Theft Auto IV There isn't any nudity. Scantly clad women, but no nudity. And those scantly clad women are only if you walk your character into the strip club. Oh yes, you can pick up hookers, but everything is fully clothed. You can also be jack cop cars, then chase criminals with the Liberty City Police Department computer network. |
