New Halo Nation Homepage/Portal

Greetings Halo Nation,

I'm pleased to announce that after a little stress, annoyance & patience we have a new homepage for the website. The suggestion was originally proposed by GoCrzy here but I intended to look into doing something more lively & interactive with the main website splash page since day one. For those of you who did enjoy the original, it has merely been renamed, so it still exists if only for archive purposes.

The new homepage is powered by vBadvanced, a very handy product that produces essentially a portal webpage. It automatically handles the forum's announcements, polls & the most recent threads. Overall, it instantly immerses you in the community as soon as you visit. Depending on your feedback, we may bring back parts of the original splash page by a few simple edits, but I am happy with it as it currently stands. I hope everyone enjoys the improvement.
