My apologies for this shameless advertising but I am posting this to extend an invitation to the Solaris Science-Fiction Writers Community.
Our main goal is to provide an writing platform for anyone to join and have ultimate freedom to do what ever they like and have others enjoy it without having to bow down to your clan or fleet storyline. You can RPG alone of with others, and you will find many like minded individuals who will love to work with you.
For those that do like joint universe were actions in your story effect those in others, we have two sponsored RPG (or Simm) universes in which you do:
The first is called “New Wings” and is a Star Trek universe set in 2405 where the Romulans have joined the Klingon/Federation alliance and Quantum Slipstream Drive has been perfected. New enemies are arasing at every tern and the dominion is begginning to rear its ungly head as Slipstream technology allows for easier exploarion of the galaxy.
The second sponsored RPG is called “Paradise lost”. It is a totally original RPG based in the mid-to-late 23rd Century. Earth has suffered a catastrophic natural disaster and has had to be abandoned. The four resulting faction now occupy the Solar System started and battle for what little resources they could mine, but when micro-wormhole was discovered near the sun leading to the mysterious Nexus System, a grave-yard of ancient wormholes to systems all over the galaxy, they take their wars to a new level.
Of course there is more to Solaris than that. We enjoy healthy debates, fun discussions, we share our art and we have a forum dedicated to hilarious material for everyone to enjoy. Several of our members don’t even RPG they just enjoy the community itself.
