Grand Theft Auto IV
Well, the next installment of this awesome series is set to hit selves next month. It has everything you can expect from
GTA, Blood, Drugs, and Sex. The story focuses on Niko Bellic, a immigrant from Europe that brings the story back to Liberty City. Don’t expect to see any familiar faces this time around, because most of them are dead anyway. This won’t exactly be the same Liberty City that you remember either, because the city has been redesigned into five boroughs, based on boroughs in New York City and New Jersey. The map may not be as big as the map in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but it is a lot more detailed. A new improvement for those of you that don’t like to wait, after the initial loading screen as you begin the game, there are no more loading screens after that. So no loading during game play. Sounds good to me. This game has so many new features, and the gun fighting system is based on Gears of War. GoW fans will love that. There will be more focus on Niko interacting with other characters in the game, and less on physical upgrades for him. Don’t worry about having to save after every mission, there is now an Auto save option that takes care of it for you. Also you won’t have to wait 24 hours (in-game) to get to the next day. This time around, each day is only 48 minutes long. Multiplayer will be an option in the game but it won’t be a MMO. It will be accessible from Niko’s Cell phone, and will have 15 modes of play and have up to 16 players. Your Multiplayer character will be customizable with a choice of gender, race, and clothing. With taking advantage of XBOX Live, players will be able to download extra content starting in August of 2008. For those of you that like to go all out, Grand Theft Auto IV will have a special edition for the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 versions. Each special edition will have a customized metal safe deposit box, a Rockstar keychain for the safe deposit box keys, a limited edition Rockstar duffel bag, production artwork in the Grand Theft Auto IV Art Book, the Grand Theft Auto IV soundtrack CD, and a specially packaged version of the game. Whether you’re a old school Grand Theft Auto fan, or new to the series, this game is sure to have it all.
