Nintendo's E3 2008 Media Press Conference

Nintendo's press conference at E3 shored up support for one of the top selling consoles of this generation. Nintendo noted the impressive sales figures of both the Nintendo DS and the Wii. Nintendo showed off some new products to add to its holiday lineup and beyond.

New Wii Hardware:
Wii Speak - A microphone that picks up the voices of everyone in a room so you can engage in group conversations from different locations.
Wii MotionPlus - An addition to your Wii Remote that is more sensitive and picks up slightest changes in your wrist's action allowing for greater motion detection precision.

I was watching it and the only good thing here seems to be Animal Crossing. I liked the GC and DS versions so this might be cool.

Nintendo is doing all this crap for the casual gamers and not the hard core. The only hard core game stuff they said was that "Zelda team is working" but that's not enough info for me. I loved Twilight Princess and I can't wait for the next one. I just wish they gave out more info on it.

I agree. I was dissapointed with Nintendo's conference. Everything seems like family or kids games other than COD and they didn't do much more than mention that. I'm still disappointed about no Kid Icarus too...
