I went through the members list, trying to figure out why we have 200 + members and barely any posting.

I counted about 11 currently active or semi active members.

We need options.

Advertising yeah, or contacting the people we already have registered and draw them back.

Everyone needs to advertise in some way on whatever site they use.

I tried advertising on the GBX Forums and I got warned not to do it again, but I will keep advertising on other forums.

I'm bumping this old thread, but I never actually saw it the first time around.

The forums automatically alert users missing in action for a month if I recall. And it continues to annoy them until they return. Not the most effective means but it helps get a few stragglers back.
