Zombie Brigade Clan?

I was browsing through the gxboxleaderboard when i noticed Commi's name was green. Upon further investigation I noticed a new User CP group.

- So what exactly is the Zombie Brigade?

The Zombie Brigade

The reason why we made Halo Nation was for the purpose of the Zombie Brigade, originally. The Zombie Brigade clan (was/is) a Halo 2/3 clan. You'll notice some notable members...Christof, Vizard, Rioter, & myself. We all know each other in real life. After fully setting up the Zombie Brigade forum, I saw the potential to launch a much more broad Halo-based website. Not only would it garner more traffic, the Zombie Brigade itself would have people to talk to other than ourselves.

Christof, the Zombie Overlord, expressed the desire to merge Zombie Brigade into the Halo Nation forums. Essentially everything on the ZB forums was mimicked here already, so it is pointless to spam it twice. Additionally, vBulletin is far superior to phpBB anyday, so it made perfect sense to bring everyone to the more advanced forum. Plus we could add features like the Arcade. Heh.

So, Zombie Brigade clan is a special usergroup. Additionally private forums will pop up for ZB members, but membership in ZB is by no means required or necessitated with Halo Nation accounts. I'm merely providing ZB with forum space to makeup for the fact that I completely pwned ZombieBrigade.com with Halo Nation.

So it's simply a Usergroup Extension of your Halo Clan and Previous website?

Basically, yes. We're in the process of moving our clan operations (typical clan spam) to Halo Nation where it will be posted to private forums so that it doesn't interfere with anyone else's forum experience. Membership in the clan means you're a member of this usergroup, means you can see the private forums.

OK...Since I am one to ask many questions...what are the requirements for joining said clan (and how does that work anyway with no halo 3 clan support?)

A fall Xbox Live update will be adding clan support to all Xbox Live games. Halo 3 simply didn't include it due to the pending update.

As far as membership within the clan, I'm not quite sure how Chris wants to handle things. He is the founder/leader since 2004, so I'll let him choose how he wants to go about membership. Once everything is merged over, I'm sure more public info will be posted for anyone interested.

Awesome. Nice to see there will be clan support again (Shudders at thought of more KSI).
