Dude, why dont you just buy Madden 01 for a ps2??Its the same thing with a few different plays, game modes, and a little better graphics. Theyre all basically the same thing, thats why a lot of sports game are bad, EA puts one out every year and its so god dam annoying.

Madden 09 is actually set to be quite different from the standard football game. The AI and moves, players, and graphics all update in every game, so it is worth getting the new ones

Yah, but its always the same basic thing, and if your getting a new version of it every year, then your letting EA mooch off your vagina. What would you say if Bungie came out with a Halo game every year for 10 years??Or rockstar coming out with a new GTA every year for 10 years??Or Epic coming out with a UT or GoW every year for 10 years??Theyd get so damn repetitive and boring so quickly youd wanna shoot yourself, to some people coz it wouldnt advance ALOT, only a lttle each year, its pointless.

Seeing as I haven't owned a Madden since '04, I saw no reason NOT to buy '09 and I likely WON'T buy '10 and unlikely another Madden for quite some time.

I see it worth it, and so do millions of others, which is why EA is smart and rich.

EA's sports games are pretty good. I haven't got anything against them.

And not ALOT is added either.

And if you swee some point in dropping 50-60 bucks on a video game you essentially just bought a year ago, just with a few minor changed details, your crazy. If your buying one every 4 or 5 years, ok thats understandable, but too many people make too many sports gaem and they get old after a while. The only sports game that dont get old is like snowboarding, which is why im getting shawn white snowboarding whenever it comes out, but mostly they do get old.

Dude. Snowboarding games can last because not much changes as far as participants etc. With football, every year is new rosters and stuff. With football games (and other sports games) there are new teams, different players, different managers and coaches, etc that change constantly. And to keep up with all those changes, they also make updates to the game's graphics, its AI, its UI, etc. Every year there is something new in each Madden game.
